College basketball teams to honor Native American Heritage Month
October is over. So that means no more pink uniforms for Breast Cancer Awareness.
But you'll be seeing some turquoise in November for Native American Heritage Month.
New Mexico, Oregon State, Florida State and Nevada all have Native American ties and its college basketball teams will sport the Nike N7 uniforms this month.

Oregon State's men's basketball team was the first to honor Native American Heritage Month with the Nike N7 Turquoise jerseys in 2010.
According to New Mexico Athletics, turquoise is deeply symbolic of friendship and community in Native American culture.
Florida State will be the first to wear the uniforms this month when the Seminoles host Tennessee-Martin on Nov. 17.
