The Golden State Warriors did not go quietly after losing Game 7 Saturday night to the Clippers.
Players from both teams exchanged words in an area between locker rooms after the Clippers' 126-121 win, although it never got serious, according to USA Today. Police apparently were called to assist, but no punches were thrown.
Coach Doc Rivers, who was in his office with family, said he wasn't aware of the incident until afterward.
Rivers said there's a hallway in the Clippers' training room that connects to the opponent's locker room, and Warriors players could hear the Clippers celebrating loudly after clinching the best-of-seven series four games to three.

"From what I heard, it was much ado about nothing," Rivers said Sunday in a conference call with reporters. "I guess they could hear guys being excited. That was about it.
"From there, I guess there were guys chirping in the hallway between the two locker rooms. I found out about it after the fact.
"Besides people talking loud at each other, nothing happened."
The USA Today report said the primary instigators were Clippers guard Chris Paul and Warriors forward Marreese Speights.
The two teams have hardly been friendly with each other for the past two seasons, and this latest incident is likely to escalate their mutual dislike next season.
