Clippers coach Rivers loves Johnny Football
Blake Griffin is one of the most exciting players in the NBA and had a stellar performace against the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.
But all Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers could talk about after the game was Johnny Football.
"I don't know if you watched Johnny Manziel, but that was unbelieveable," Rivers said after the Clippers' New Year's Day win.
Mazniel rallied Texas A&M back from a 38-17 halftime deficit to a wild 52-48 win in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Duke on Tuesday.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner has put together countless stunning plays during his two years as the Aggies' starting quarterback, but many believe he's ready to head to the NFL.
No matter what decision Manziel makes, Rivers will still be one of his biggest fans.
"I've never watched a college player, honestly, more in my life, in one year," Rivers said. "I don't care what he does next year, I just want to see him play. Go back to college and play, go to the pros -- I just want to see him play. He's fun to watch."
