Deshaun Watson and ACC defending champion Clemson flexed their muscle with Wednesday's release of the conference's all-preseason team.

Watson, the Tigers' junior quarterback, who was previously announced as the repeat pick as ACC Preseason Player of the Year, and Clemson led all schools with 10 selections in the vote of 191 media members at last week's ACC Football Kickoff in Charlotte.

Watson -- who finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting in a sophomore season in which he became the first player in FBS history with 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 rushing in the same campaign -- was joined in the All-ACC preseason team backfield by Florida State's Dalvin Cook and North Carolina's Elijah Hood.

Making up the rest of the offense are wide receivers Artavis Scott (Clemson), Isaiah Ford (Virginia Tech) and Travis Rudolph (Florida State), tight end Jordan Leggett (Clemson), tackles Roderick Johnson (Florida State) and Mitch Hyatt (Clemson), guards Dorian Johnson (Pitt) and Tyrone Crowder (Clemson) and center Jay Guillermo (Clemson).

The Tigers received three defensive picks -- tackle Carlos Watkins, linebacker Ben Boulware and cornerback Cordrea Tankersley -- and were matched in that department by Louisville with linebackers Devonte Fields and Keith Kelsey and tackle DeAngelo Brown.

Making up the remainder of the defense were ends DeMarcus Walker (Florida State) and Ejuan Price (Pitt), cornerback Des Lawrence (North Carolina) and safeties Derwin James (Florida State) and Quin Blanding (Virginia).

North Carolina return man Ryan Switzer, who is a punt return away from tying Wes Welker and Antonio Perkins for the NCAA punt return record, was again selected as the top specialist. He's joined by Miami punter Justin Vogel and Clemson place kicker Greg Huegel.
