GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Clay Matthews admitted that he played one
of the worst games of his career Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. With a
giant club over his right hand, that was probably to be expected. But now the
Green Bay Packers' star outside linebacker won't even get paid his full amount
for the game.

Matthews was fined $15,750 for roughing the passer in
Sunday's loss to the Eagles. Late in the second quarter, Matthews was flagged
for a penalty when he Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles after the pass had
already been thrown. The NFL clearly felt the hit deserved more than just a
penalty.
