The Atlanta Braves' infield on Opening Day is currently projected to look almost identical to the 2013 Opening Day version. In fact, there's a chance that every position, from catcher to third base, could be the exact same.
The Braves trotted out Freddie Freeman (first), Dan Uggla (second), Andrelton Simmons (shortstop), Chris Johnson (third) and Gerald Laird behind the plate. Barring injury or trade, that quintet is an option for manager Fredi Gonzalez once again, though Evan Gattis will more than likely get the start at catcher. All the same, there's some consistency there.
That's not to say there is little to discuss, though.
