Tamba Hali had a huge game for the Chiefs in their big win over the Texans on Sunday, so when coach Andy Reid told his players to celebrate (wisely, of course), Hali did.

The outside linebacker, who had 6 tackles and 2.5 sacks, including a game-clinching forced fumble, took a group of friends and family to a nearby restaurant where Hali finished the night off by leaving a very generous tip.

Hali and his group enjoyed the all-you-can-eat-pig-out-fest of meat and racked up a bill of more than $1,800. The restaurant automatically added a tip of almost $300.

Restaurant employees say Hali is a regular customer who is a generous tipper. Still they were stunned when he added an additional $1,000 gratuity onto the bill.

Hali said he was uncomfortable with the attention he is getting because
of the tip, and he just did it to help others like he has been helped.
