On Wednesday morning, actor Charlie Sheen made his third appearance on the Dan Patrick Show in the last three weeks. Sheen's recent streak of bizarre behavior started after he gave an impromptu pep talk to the UCLA baseball team on Feb. 10. Patrick booked him as a guest on his radio show to talk baseball, and the actor opened up about some of the drama in his life.
Ever since, it's been nearly impossible to turn on the TV without hearing another story about Sheen's antics. On Wednesday, the actor talked about life after Two and a Half Men and hinted that his days in the media spotlight might be coming to an abrupt end.
Dan Patrick: Are you glad you got fired from Two and a Half Men?
Charlie Sheen: There's a part of me that is because now I'm a free agent and can pursue some things that are a little more creative than that slag pit of redundancy. There's a part of me that kind of enjoyed taking all their money. So I have to find something between the two to make myself happy again.
DP: Did I cause all of this?
CS: I wouldn't say you caused all of it. I'm going to go with like 94 percent. I think it's awesome. This could be my final interview, which is sort of symbolic because it's where it all began and it's where it all ends.
DP: So no more interviews?
CS: Why? Because all they do is glad-hand me to get into my home and then they vilify me in their narrative speak. It's like they teach this stuff in journalism school to have this oozing, judgmental tone when they describe you in their horrible troll-like voiceovers. It's just so pathetic and transparent and completely without merit.
DP: Would you change anything with what you did over the last few weeks?
CS: I don't know because I'm not really ashamed of anything, and the behavior of these so-called panel of experts, these ridiculous, retarded zombies who have never met me and they just weigh in.
