Chargers grab RB Baker with compensatory pick

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The San Diego Chargers have used their compensatory pick in the NFL draft to take running back Edwin Baker, who left Michigan State after his junior season.
Baker went to the Chargers with the 250th overall pick.
Baker ran for 665 yards and five touchdowns last season, sharing carries with Le'Veon Bell.
The 5-foot-9, 210-pound Baker had 1,201 yards rushing and 13 TDs as a sophomore, earning All-Big Ten honors.
