Charge acquire former MAC guard
CLEVELAND -- The Canton Charge have acquired guard Kyle Randall from the D-League player pool, team officials said Tuesday.
In order to make room for Randall, the Charge released guard Anthony Harris.
Randall played in 24 games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants earlier this season, compiling averages of 4.3 points and 1.7 assists. The 6-foot-1 guard played his first three college seasons at UNC Greensboro before transferring to Central Michigan for his senior year.
The Charge are the D-League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Their roster now stands at 10.
They wrap up the home season Wednesday vs. the Maine Red Claws at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the Charge holding a special promotion in which you can buy two tickets to any seat for the price of one.
