Central Florida routs Tulane 61-14
NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Jeff Godfrey ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more as Central Florida routed Tulane 61-14 on Saturday.
Godfrey twice ran 1 yard for a touchdown and threw scoring passes of 28 yards to Quincy McDuffie and 60 yards to Kamar Aiken. McDuffie also scored on a 95-yard kickoff return.
The Knights (8-3, 6-1 Conference USA) clinched at least a share of the East Division title. They could clinch the division outright with a Southern Mississippi loss to Houston on Saturday night or by beating Memphis next Saturday.
The Green Wave (4-7, 2-5) are assured of their fourth losing season in as many years under coach Bob Toledo and their eighth straight overall.
UCF's Latavius Murray rushed for 146 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries.
Tulane's Orleans Darkwa had 129 yards and one TD on 20 carries for his fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game.
