If seven is a number of completion, four is enough for UCLA head coach Ben Howland to get downright giddy.
After receiving a national letter of intent from the nation's top player, Shabazz Muhammad, Howland announced his hopes to sign "one more player."
Presumably, he was referring to 6-foot-9, 270 pound center Tony Parker out of Miller Grove High School in Georgia.
On Monday, Howland received the "icing on the cake."
Parker announced he would join Jordan Adams, Kyle Anderson and Muhammad as new UCLA Bruins.
"I'm so excited for our program to have a quality big man like Tony join our team and Bruin family," Howland said. Parker picked the Bruins over Georgia, Duke, Ohio State, Kansas and Memphis.
"I just thought UCLA was the perfect place for me to get better (and) be successful," Parker said during his announcement ceremony. "(It) was a better fit for me and the people I was coming in with."
The addition of Parker bolsters UCLA's recruiting class to the top in the nation according to many recruiting services.
He'll be reunited with UCLA assistant Korey McCray, who coached Parker and Adams with the Atlanta Celtics.
Once Muhammad signed with the Bruins, he said he was going to make it a point to get Parker to come along as well.
On Monday, Parker acknowledged the trio of Adams, Anderson and Muhammad recruited him hard.
UCLA, coming off of a 19-14 season in which the team played home games at Honda Center and the Sports Arena, will return to Pauley Pavilion next season after the renovation project is complete.
