Upcoming Game of the Week: Belton v. Temple
Before this season started, Belton had only won 6 games over the past three seasons (2006, 2007 & 2008). This season Belton has already easily topped that with 7-1 record. Their lone setback was a 10-0 loss to perennial power Copperas Cove.
Temple is currently 2-3 in the District 12-5A race but only 1 game out for the fourth playoff spot. Temple entered the season with lofty expectations boasting one of the nations highest rated college recruits in RB Lache Seastrunk. Unfortunately for Seastrunk and Temple, I think all the publicity has worked against them as each week they face a team with a defense designed to take away Temple
