Cavs activate Delonte West

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Cavaliers guard Delonte West has been actived for the first time this season and expects to play against the Charlotte Bobcats.
The troubled West, who has battled personal and legal issues, did not play during the preseason and sat out Cleveland's first three games. Cavs coach Mike Brown said West would not start but would likely come in off the bench against the Bobcats.
West was arrested in September for carrying three concealed weapons when he was pulled over by Maryland police near his home. He reported to training camp on time but missed the Cavs' first four practices without an excuse. He returned but then left the team for a week to deal with his personal matters.
Last week, West's wife filed domestic violence report against him.
