The Arizona Cardinals will report to training camp at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff on July 24 and will conduct 21 practices on campus before breaking camp on Aug. 21.

The first practice will follow on July 25 as the Cardinals get an early jump on camp in preparation for playing the New Orleans Saints in the preseason-opening Hall of Fame Game against the New Orleans Saints on Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio.

Following the game in Canton, the Cardinals will detour to St. Joseph, Mo., for combined practices with the Kansas City Chiefs at Missouri Western State University.

The Cardinals will be in Missouri for five days prior to playing the Chiefs in a preseason game on Friday, Aug. 10, at Arrowhead Stadium.

“There are many benefits to this arrangement, and we appreciate Coach (Romeo) Crennel and the Chiefs working to make this happen,” said Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt. “Logistically it makes a lot of sense since we play Sunday night in Canton and then Friday night at Kansas City, but I’ve always found there’s also great value in getting work against another team in a setting like this. We’re looking forward to it.”

The Cardinals will host a special “Red & White” outdoor practice in Flagstaff on Saturday, July 28. The day will begin with a full-team autograph session for children ages 12 and less from 10:45 to 11:10 a.m., followed by an open practice from 11:30 to 1:20 p.m.

The team will also conduct a night practice on Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the newly remodeled Lumberjack Stadium on NAU’s campus. All other practices in Flagstaff will be held on the grass fields adjacent to the Walkup Skydome. In the event of inclement weather, they will be moved inside to the Skydome.

Admission and parking are free. Cardinals players and coaches will be available following each outdoor practice to sign autographs as they come off the field.

Practice times are subject to change and fans are encouraged to check the team’s official website www.azcardinals.com for the most up-to-date practice info, as well as @azcardinals on Twitter and Facebook.com/arizonacardinals.
