The St. Louis Cardinals have the reputation as being one of the classiest organizations in baseball.
Texas Rangers fans might disagree after Sunday.
The promotional giveaway for Sunday's series finale between the Rangers and Cardinals was replica tickets from Game 7 of the 2011 World Series. That series, of course, ended with the Cardinals beating the Rangers in seven games.

Maybe it was a promo two years in the making and the Cardinals were waiting for just the right time. At least Rangers fans can be thankful for a couple of things. Maybe the three-hour rain delay destroyed some of the 25,000 replica tickets, and at least the tickets weren't from Game 6.
No word if the Texas organization is working on a bullpen phone giveaway for the next time the Cardinals come to Rangers Ballpark.
