Cardinals' Fitzgerald added to Pro Bowl roster
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was selected Sunday for the 2014 Pro Bowl. Initially chosen as an alternate, Fitzgerald will replace Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas, whose team advanced to Super Bowl XLVIII earlier Sunday.
This is Fitzgerald's eighth Pro Bowl selection (2005, '07-13), tying him with Hall of Fame safety Larry Wilson for the most in team history. His seven consecutive selections establishes a new franchise record, moving him past Wilson (1965-70) and Hall of Fame finalist cornerback Aeneas Williams (1994-99), both of whom were selected six straight times.
Fitzgerald joins Cardinals linebacker John Abraham, cornerback Patrick Peterson and special-teams ace Justin Bethel at the Pro Bowl. This is the eighth time in team history and first since 2008 that the Cardinals have had at least one Pro Bowl selection on offense, defense and special teams.
Excited to be headed to the #ProBowl again!!

The 30-year-old Fitzgerald had 10 touchdowns in 2013, making him one of just nine players in NFL history with at least 10 TD receptions in five different seasons. He finished with 82 catches for 954 yards.
The 2014 Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Sunday, Jan. 26.
