Cardinals announce preseason opponents

The Cardinals finalized their opponents for the 2012 preseason, announcing tht they will play home games against the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos and road games at Kansas City and Tennessee. These are in addition to the previously announced Hall of Fame Game matchup againt the New Orleands Saints in Canton, Ohio.

The Hall of Fame game will be nationally televised by the NFL Network on Aug. 5. The game at Tennessee will also be nationally televised, by ESPN, on Aug. 23. Dates for the other three games are yet to be announced.

The game at Kansas City will be second on the preseason schedule (Aug. 9-13), followed by the home game against Oakland (Aug. 16-20), the road game at Tenneesse and the preseason finale at home against Denver (Aug. 29-30). This will be the eighth time in nine years that the Cardinals conclude the preseason against the Broncos.

The 2012 regular season schedule is expected to be announced later this month. It includes home games against the Eagles, Bears, Lions, Dolphins, Bills and NFC West opponents Rams, Seahawks and 49ers. The road opponents are the Falcons, Packers, Vikings, Patriots, Jets, Rams, Seahawks and 49ers.
