Caesar's Palace Sets 2013 BCS Title Odds

I'm not a huge gambler by any stretch of the imagination, but I always love to see what Las Vegas thinks of match-ups, futures, and the like. That's why I was excited when our guy on 3HL, Todd Fuhrman of Caesar's Palace, came on our show today and announced that Caesar's 2013 BCS title future odds had gone live. And, man oh man, does Las Vegas love the SEC.

How much?

Four of its top six favorites to win the title come from the SEC, including LSU as the overall favorite, Alabama, Arkansas, and, wait for it, Georgia. Hell, three of those teams -- LSU, Alabama, and Arkansas -- are from the same division.

And six of the top 15 favorites to win the title come from the SEC.

Think that cushy 2012 schedule doesn't matter, Georgia is tied for the fifth most likely team to win the national title next season.

Favorites from the big six conferences: SEC: LSU, PAC 12: USC, ACC: Florida State and Virginia Tech (tie), Big 12: Oklahoma, Big 10: Michigan, Big East: West Virginia if they play there, if not Cincinnati

Check out the fifty teams that Vegas offers odds on for next season. (Note: this list will adjust as players announce early departures).

All of these Caesar's odds are the payout to 1. That is, LSU is 3.5 to 1. I've added the numbers for a rough Vegas approximation of the team's top 25 status coming in to the 2013 season.
