Buy the coat that covered Aaron Rodgers' broken heart
Aaron Rodgers is doing just great these days. He's a star NFL quarterback with an NFL MVP and Super Bowl win under his belt. But if you go back in time a few years, you'll find the night Rodgers was drafted. A night he would like to forget in more ways than one, FOX Sports Wisconsin reports. The suit coat that the star quarterback wore on the night he fell from consensus overall No. 1 pick to No. 24 is currently up for auction. Which suit? Watch this:
So, how did this happen? Apparently, Rodgers might have just rid himself of the suit, because it was found sitting for sale at a Goodwill in Green Bay. The tag on it read, "Aaron Rogers (sic), 4/18/05." One person took the leap and bought it. Fast forward a little bit and the item is now listed by Heritage Auctions with a current bid of $1,300. Any word if Geno Smith was the guy behind that bid? Sorry, too soon?
