Burke among Canada's Sports Hall of Fame inductees

TORONTO (AP) Sarah Burke, the freestyle skier who died after a training accident in 2012, will be inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
Burke was a world champion and four-time X Games winner in women's ski halfpipe, a sport she championed to be included at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. She died Jan. 19, 2012, at the age of 29 after an accident in Utah.
She will be inducted along with jumper Horst Bulau, cross country skier Pierre Harvey, hockey player Geraldine Heaney, figure skater Elizabeth Manley and rugby player Gareth Rees. Wheelchair basketball pioneer Tim Frick and basketball coach Kathy Shields will be inducted in the builder category.
