Buckeyes hoping to land Massachusetts big man
Highly rated senior center Goodluck Okonoboh set to pick between Buckeyes, Hoosiers and Runnin' Rebels.
Ohio State head coach Thad Matta is hoping to add another post player to his 2014 recruiting class when Goodluck Okonoboh makes his decision Thursday.
Okonoboh is a four-star center from Wilbrahan, Mass., who is rated the No. 5 center in the country by Scout.com. The 6-9, 210-pounder has narrowed his list to Ohio State, Indiana and UNLV.
He visited the Buckeyes and Runnin' Rebels this past weekend after seeing Indiana officially two weeks earlier.
According to AllHoosiers.com, Okonoboh will announce his decision at halftime of ESPNU's broadcast of the football game between Western Kentucky vs. Louisiana-Monroe. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Thus far Matta's class consists of five-star guard D'Angelo Russell of Montverde, Fla., four-star guard Keita Bates-Diop of Normal, Ill., four-star forward Jae'sean Tate of Pickerington, Ohio, and three-star center Dave Bell of Garfield Heights, Ohio.
