IRVING, Texas – Dez Bryant certainly doesn't act or talk like a man with a bad back.

The Cowboys receiver did not participate in practice Wednesday while recovering from a hit Sunday that caused back spasms.

However, Bryant was moving quickly around the locker room and joking with reporters at the Cowboys' practice facility.

"I'm going to tell you all about it on Thursday," Bryant said, laughing. "I just gave you something brief."

Bryant's quarterback, Tony Romo, didn't seem concerned that his big-play threat wasn't in pads Wednesday. The Cowboys host St. Louis on Sunday.

"He's just getting himself ready to go, I think," Romo said. "He did a great job in the game and he toughed out after a pretty good shot he took. I think he'll be fine this week."
