Moments before kickoff of Sunday's matchup with the Bears, reporters learned that Browns star receiver Josh Gordon had been involved in a minor car accident on Saturday.
His status for the game was unaffected, as Gordon was not injured and had been medically cleared to play, team spokesman Zak Gilbert said.
Here's the post-accident photo Gordon put up on Instagram along with the caption "@el_padrino16 first day out here & we nearly died..."
Gordon's friend Bram Koulhausen (referenced in the Instagram post) was driving the Range Rover back to Cleveland when the snowy road conditions caused the car in front of them to lose
control. When Gordon's vehicle swerved to avoid a
collision, they spun out and landed in a snow bank.
According to the team spokesman, no one was injured and Gordon reported to their hotel in time for Saturday night's team meetings.
