Browns-Steelers postgame notes

Game notes from Cleveland's 27-11 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, courtesy of the Browns.
 
-- WR Josh Gordon set a franchise record with 237 receiving yards and tied a team record with 14 receptions, while adding one touchdown. He registered his fifth 100-yard receiving game this year, the most by a Brown in a season. Gordon became the first Browns player to record back-to-back 100-yard receiving games since Braylon Edwards in 2006 (110 at Cincinnati on Sept. 17, and 116 vs. Baltimore on Sept. 24).


-- On the season, Gordon has a team-leading 988 receiving yards, surpassing his 805 yards set as a rookie in 2012. He has the most receiving yards by a Brown since 2007 when WR Braylon Edwards set a franchise record with 1,289 and TE Kellen Winslow added 1,106. Gordon’s 988 receiving yards are the most by a Brown through the first 11 games of a season. In addition, his 1,793 receiving yards are the most by any player in their first 25 games as a Brown.

-- The Browns are the only NFL team to have not allowed a 100-yard rusher or a 300-yard passer in a game this season.

-- TE Jordan Cameron recorded three receptions and leads the team this season with 59. His reception total is tied for the fourth most by a Browns player in the first 11 games of a season, and his 661 receiving yards are the fifth most by a Browns tight end in in the first 11 games of a season.

-- The Browns are 12 of 25 (48.0 percent) on fourth downs this season. The 25 fourth-down attempts are the most in club history and the 12 conversions are tied for the most.

-- LT Joe Thomas extended his consecutive-snaps streak to 6,596, the longest active stretch in the league. Thomas has started all 107 games and hasn’t missed an offensive play since being selected by the Browns with the third overall pick in the 2007 draft.

-- C Alex Mack has started and played in each of the first 75 games of his career. He hasn’t missed an offensive snap during his career, a stretch of 4,671 plays.

-- K Billy Cundiff connected on a 49-yard field goal. He is 16 for 19 on the season. He had a streak of 12 consecutive made field goals snapped following a miss on a 46-yard attempt in the third quarter.

-- P Spencer Lanning booted five punts for 195 yards (39.0 avg.), including landing two inside the 10-yard line. He has not had a touchback in his last 24 punts.

-- The Browns defense limited the Steelers to 4-of-14 (29.0 percent) on third-down attempts. Over the last two games, the Browns have held their opponents to 5-of-28 (17.9 percent) on third down and 13-for-51 (25.5 percent) since halftime of the Kansas City game (10/27).
