Browns' registration process for 'Family Day' in Akron

The registration system the Browns are using for their 2014 training camp also applies to the team's Aug. 2 "Family Day" practice and intrasquad scrimmage at the University of Akron's Infocision Stadium.

Starting this Thursday, July 17, fans can register for up to six free seats to the Family Day scrimmage, which starts at 11:30 a.m.

Registration for this event and the other 13 open training camp practices at the team's headquarters in Berea can be found at the team's official website, ClevelandBrowns.com

Following the format of past years, the "Family Day" format also includes a zip line, inflatables, a food court and an alumni autograph area outside the stadium starting at 9:30 a.m. Gates will open at 10:30.

Players will sign autographs for fans at the conclusion of the scrimmage.

The Browns are expected to attract record crowds to training camp this year with another new regime in charge and the drafting of quarterback Johnny Manziel in May. Manziel starts camp behind incumbent starter Brian Hoyer, a native of the Cleveland area.
