The Browns used their second pick of the fourth round on Stanford's Owen Marecic, a two-way player at the college level who probably will play fullback in the NFL.
Marecic, listed at 6'1, 248, seeks out contact and could be either the eventual or immediate replacement for Lawrence Vickers, who's due for some level of free agency depending on the eventual resolution of the labor issues.
Last September at Notre Dame, Marecic scored a rushing touchdown and scored on an interception return in the same game. He often started both ways and was a 4.0 student at Stanford.
Marecic was selected at No. 124 overall with the pick added in Thursday night's trade with the Falcons.
