CHICAGO (AP) -- Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Jason Campbell was out of the lineup for Thursday's preseason finale against the Chicago Bears.
Both teams were resting their top players, and the Browns were expected to go with Campbell at quarterback.
He's been battling flu-like symptoms the past few days, but the team says he's available if needed. With starter Brandon Weeden also being held out, the Browns went with third-stringer Brian Hoyer.
