BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Browns defensive starters Ahtyba Rubin and Scott Fujita both missed practice and may sit out Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
Rubin, Cleveland's best interior lineman, sustained a lower leg injury last week and has not practiced. Fujita missed the past two days with what the team has listed as a shoulder/neck problem on its injury report. Earlier this week, Fujita slammed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his handling of the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal and questioned his record on player safety.
Browns rookie wide receiver Travis Benjamin was back at practice Friday. He missed last week with a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi remains sidelined with a hamstring issue and Jordan Norwood, who caught nine passes against New York, is out with a foot injury. Norwood was in a walking boot and on crutches Thursday.
Rookie wide receiver Josh Cooper could be promoted from the practice squad to face the Bengals. He was college teammates with Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden.
