BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns have signed defensive lineman A.J. Pataiali'i to the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
To make room, the Browns released long snapper Charley Hughlett from the practice squad.
A 6-2, 310-pound rookie from Utah State, Pataiali'i originally signed with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent on May 12. He spent two weeks on the Ravens' practice squad this season. He appeared in 27 games with 16 starts in two seasons at Utah State after transferring from Snow College.
