Browns add four players

BEREA, Ohio - The Browns announced four signings Tuesday, bringing their roster size to the training camp capacity of 90.

Signed were tight ends Kyle Auffray and Martell Webb, linebacker Keith Pough and wide receiver Tim Smith. None have ever played in an NFL game.

The tight end additions were necessary because Jordan Cameron and Jim Dray are battling shoulder injuries. Webb has spent time on five different practice squads; Auffray has previously spent time with the Cardinals and Patriots.

Pough spent time with the Bills last season, when Browns coach Mike Pettine was Bills defensive coordinator. Smith is a rookie out of Virginia.

The Browns have two more practices this week, Wednesday and Thursday, before Saturday's preseason opener at Detroit. The team got starting safety Tashaun Gipson back to practice Tuesday and Pettine said Gipson may get full clearance by Wednesday.
