Broadcaster apologizes for using slur on air during NCAA tourney game

CBS/Turner broadcaster Andrew Catalon was calling the Oklahoma State-Gonzaga game with Mike Gminski on Friday when he found a horrible way to describe one team's strategy. 

It all happened when Oklahoma State fouled Gonzaga's Przemek Karnowski late in the game in an effort to reduce the team's deficit. Catalon called the strategy "Hack-A-Polack."

Gminiski quickly picked up on it and said, "Easy now."

Catalon laughed it off and said, "Oh, sorry."

He later apologized again on air, saying: "I made a comment earlier about Karnowski ... I apologize if people were offended."
