DENVER (AP) -- Jean Segura homered twice and Ryan Braun had three hits in his 1,000th career game, helping the Milwaukee Brewers hold off the Colorado Rockies 13-10 on Friday night.

Khris Davis also homered and Carlos Gomez extended his hitting streak to 16 games as the Brewers scored their most runs of the year and tied a season high with 19 hits.

Marco Estrada (6-4) gave up seven runs and a career-most 10 hits, yet still earned the win thanks to the Brewers' bats.

In their first game since being no-hit by Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, the Rockies got their league-leading offense back on track with a 16-hit evening, which included homers from Justin Morneau, Corey Dickerson and Brandon Barnes. Morneau finished with five RBI.

Christian Bergman (0-2) was roughed up as he surrendered up seven runs in three innings. The righty departed soon after taking a liner off the left forearm.

The opening three innings played more like the Coors Field of old, before the humidor came into existence. The teams combined for 13 runs and 16 hits.

About then, Estrada began to find his groove. He pitched three straight scoreless innings to give Brewers hitters a chance to open up a gap. Milwaukee took the lead for good on Segura's second homer of the game in the third.

It was Segura's first multihomer game. He also added an RBI single.

The Brewers were leading 11-6 in the sixth, when Dickerson hit a two-run homer -- his fourth hit of the night.

An inning later, Barnes lined a two-run homer to make it 12-10.

Milwaukee reliever Will Smith found himself in a precarious situation in the eighth, with two on and one out. Segura made a nifty play in the hole to snare Morneau's grounder and threw to second for a force out. Smith then struck out Wilin Rosario to end the threat.

Francisco Rodriguez struck out two of three in ninth for his 24th save in 26 chances.

Gomez finished with three singles to stretch his streak of safely reaching base to 33 straight games. That ties him for the fifth-longest streak in franchise history.

Braun had a memorable game, too, finishing 3 for 6 with two doubles in his 1,000th game. He's the 12th Brewers players to reach that milestone.

Morneau provided an early spark for the Rockies, hitting a two-run double in the first and a three-run homer the following inning.

The Rockies had a scary moment in the third when Bergman was hit above his glove hand by a line drive from Aramis Ramirez. The trainer and manager Walt Weiss came out to check on Bergman, who threw a few warmup pitches before electing to continue.

Two of the next three batters -- Davis and Segura -- homered off Bergman before he got out of the inning. He was taken out for reliever Tommy Kahnle in the fourth.

There was no update on Bergman's injury.
