MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun was scratched from the lineup for Friday's game against Arizona just over a half hour before first pitch with right neck spasms.

Rookie Khris Davis will start in his place and hit seventh in the lineup. With Braun slated to hit third in Friday's lineup, second baseman Rickie Weeks moved down to hit third, while shortstop Jean Segura jumped up to hit second.

Braun is 4-for-10 with a home run and 4 RBI in Milwaukee's first three games.

Friday will mark Davis' first career start. Making the Opening Day roster after hitting six spring training home runs, Davis has pinch hit twice this season, flying out and striking out.
