MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun was scratched from Friday night's lineup against the Diamondbacks because of spasms on the right side of his neck.

Braun had started in left field in all three games for Milwaukee this season. He got a hit, scored a run and drove in at least one in each of them.

The former NL MVP took batting practice before he was pulled. Khris Davis made his major league debut replacing Braun.
