With most of the dust having settled from another National Signing Day, we thought we would take a look at where members of Scout.com's Ohio Top 100 prospects in Ohio ended up in 2014.
While Ohio State and Cincinnati both signed nine players from the Ohio Top 100, Kentucky led the way with 10. In all, 66 Ohioans are headed to a school in one of the five power conferences.
The Buckeyes can claim the highest quality haul out of the state with the top six prospects, including Mr. Football Dante Booker of Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.
Kentucky's highest-rated signee from Ohio is Darius West, a safety from Lima Central Catholic who was ranked No. 12 in the state.
The Big Ten claimed the most members of the Ohio top 100 with 32 while the ACC signed 17, the MAC 14 and the SEC 13. Only four Ohioans are headed to the Big 12 (including three to West Virginia) while the Pac-12 signed none.
All nine players headed to the American Athletic Conference -- which loses the equivalent of automatic qualifier status in the new college football postseason format -- are future Bearcats, while Ohio University dominated among the state's best prospects when compared to the rest of its conference.
Frank Solich and his staff brought in seven of Ohio's Top 100 with no one else in the MAC signing more than two.
In terms of region, Southwest Ohio led the way with 41 members of the 2014 top 100 while 30 came from Northeast Ohio. Fourteen are products of Northwest Ohio schools with 13 from Central Ohio and two from the southeast.
