Brad Keselowski Fails Post-Race Inspection At Dover
Brad Keselowski, driver of the #2 Miller Lite Ford, talks with crew chief Paul Wolfe in the garage during practice at Dover International Speedway.
Brad Keselowski and Penske Racing are in hot water with NASCAR once again.
Keselowski's No. 2 Ford was found to be too low in post-race inspection following his fifth place finish at Dover International Speedway.
The Penske squad could be facing penalties for the second time this season.
Flashback to April 13th at Texas Motor Speedway, where Keselowski's car failed pre-race inspection for an unapproved rear end housing. NASCAR docked the team 25 points and suspended several key crew members for six races, including crew chief Paul Wolfe, car chief Jerry Kelley and engineer Brian Wilson.
Penske appealed that infraction and managed to get the suspensions cut down to just two races (Darlington and Charlotte). The points penalty and $200,000 fine were upheld.
Wolfe, Kelley and Wilson all returned to the team this weekend at Dover, but remain on NASCAR probation until December 31st. It is unclear whether their probation will play a factor.
When asked by a fan on Twitter if he can catch a break, Keselowski responded with, "Negative ghost rider. The pattern is full."
