Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus, the father of two daughters, was asked for a Father's Day story ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins.
"I remember the last time I played catch with my dad," Ausmus said. "I broke his thumb and he never played catch with me again."
When asked how old he was at the time, Ausmus said he was playing in Little League. So, just how hard was he throwing at such an early age?
"In the low- to mid-100's," Ausmus said with a smile. "I think he just caught it wrong."
