Boyd-Holt, Peppers-Boulware clash in ACC Gridiron LIVE Greatest Player Tourney

Voting has opened in the ACC Gridiron LIVE Greatest Player Tournament, with 16 first-round matchups now open. There are eight offensive and eight defensive pairings, featuring some compelling clashes.

Two recent Clemson stars take center stage as Tajh Boyd, the eighth-seed in the John Heisman Region, faces NC State's Torry Holt, the No. 9 seed, and No. 14 seed Sammy Watkins meets Georgia Tech's latest Hall of Famer, third-seeded Joe Hamilton.
Also in action is Florida State's No. 1 seed Charlie Ward, who meets Virginia's Heath Miller (No. 16), while second-seeded Roman Gabriel of NC State takes on Boston College's Andre Williams (No. 15).
In the defense's Frank Howard Region, top-seeded Randy White of Maryland faces NC State's No. 16 seed David Amerson, while North Carolina's second-seeded Dre' Bly meets Florida State's Derrick Alexander (No. 15).
But the most intriguing matchup of the eight defensive pairings may be No. 4 seed Julius Peppers of North Carolina vs. Florida State's 13th-seeded Peter Boulware.
