Former NBA journeyman Calvin Booth has joined the Minnesota Timberwolves' operations staff.

The team announced Wednesday that Booth, 37, will serve as its director of player programs in addition to some scouting duties. He joins the Timberwolves after scouting for the New Orleans Hornets last season.

Booth played for seven teams during his 10-year playing career, including one game for Minnesota after being acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers. His other stops were Washington, Dallas, Seattle, Milwaukee and Sacramento.

In 366 career games, Booth averaged 3.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks.
