Bobrovsky injured in CBJ loss
Things went from bad to worse for Columbus on Wednesday night as All-Star goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had to leave the team's loss in Winnipeg with a lower body injury.
The former Vezina Trophy winner went down in the second period with the Blue Jackets already trailing 3-0. Backup Curtis McElhinney yielded a goal in the second period, and the Jets eventually won 4-0.
After the game, head coach Todd Richards told reporters Bobrovsky would be evaluated Thursday.
Forward Jeremy Morin also was unable to finish the game, and the club announced he had an upper body injury.
Richards: "This is kind of how the season's been going. We're close to getting guys back, then lose two guys in the game." #CBJ
