Things went from bad to worse for Columbus on Wednesday night as All-Star goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had to leave the team's loss in Winnipeg with a lower body injury.
The former Vezina Trophy winner went down in the second period with the Blue Jackets already trailing 3-0. Backup Curtis McElhinney yielded a goal in the second period, and the Jets eventually won 4-0.
After the game, head coach Todd Richards told reporters Bobrovsky would be evaluated Thursday.
Forward Jeremy Morin also was unable to finish the game, and the club announced he had an upper body injury.

Bobrovsky is one of three Blue Jackets scheduled to play in the NHL All-Star Game on Sunday in Columbus, joining forwards Nick Foligno and Ryan Johansen.
Bobrovsky has started 32 games this season and posted a record of 16-15-2-1 with a 2.85 goals-against average and a 91.3 save percentage.
McElhinney is 4-6-1 in 11 starts with a 2.98 GAA and save percentage of .907.
