Blues surge past Wild late

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Jordan Leopold scored the tiebreaking goal at 5:33 of the third period, leading the St. Louis Blues to a 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night.
Leopold scored off an assist from Vladimir Tarasenko, who passed it to Leopold in the right circle for a one-timer high into the net.
Patrik Berglund, T.J. Oshie and David Backes also scored for the Blues (2-3-1), who won their second straight game. Jake Allen stopped 14 shots.

Jason Zucker scored for the Minnesota (2-2-1) and Niklas Backstrom stopped 33 shots.
