Blues' prospect Binnington takes the goalie mask art game to a whole new level

St. Louis Blues goaltender Brian Elliott usually sets the bar pretty
high with his mask art. His unique picturing of Casey Jones from the
Ninja Turtles on his hard hat was nothing short of awesome. But Jordan
Binnington, a fellow goalie in the Blues organization, might have just
stolen the show with his latest graphic selection.

Yes, that is
Will Smith as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on the side of Binnington's
mask, and yes, it is that cool. But when you see it, you might start
humming the words "In west Philadelphia born and raised ..." and
immediately wonder why the netminder -- raised in Canada and currently
playing with the Blues' minor league affiliate Chicago Wolves -- landed
on Carlton Banks' cousin for his mask art. His answer
to InGoal Mag
would make Uncle Phil proud:

"Outside of the TV show, from what I see he is a
self-driven individual who knows what he wants in life," Binnington said
to InGoal when asked to explain his mask choice. "I couldn't name one
movie I haven't enjoyed with him in it. Every movie or show has a
purpose. The TV show is so creative, I'm laughing out loud every
episode. So to sum it all up, I just feel we'd be best
friends."

Who wouldn't want to
be best friend with Will Smith? 'Nuff said. This mask will be tough to
beat in terms of street cred, and the folks over at Head Strong Grafx
have truly outdone themselves with this one.
