Blues announce fan rally, other opening night festivities
ST. LOUIS -- One of the biggest stories of the St. Louis Blues' off-season was the return of Hall of Famer Brett Hull to The Note as a front office executive. And when the Blues open the season Thursday against the Nashville Predators at Scottrade Center, Hull will drop the ceremonial puck.
Game time has been moved to 7:30 p.m.
FOX Sports Midwest coverage of the opener begins at 6:30 p.m. with live coverage of a pregame fans rally outside Scottrade. Opening night festivities will include live music from "Paint the Earth" and appearances by Blues alumni, broadcasters, Louie and the Blue Crew. Fans also will be able to participate in the Blues’ inflatable slapshot game, among other activities.
Doors to Scottrade Center will open at 5:30 p.m.
The Blues encourage fans to arrive at their seats by 7 p.m. for a special pregame show and the introduction of the 2013-14 team.
