TAMPA, Fla. -- On Saturday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m., Prep Zone will be at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa for the Blue-Grey North South All-American Bowl. The game will be live streamed on FOXSportsFlorida.com via Prep Zone, presented by Checkers.
Both teams are loaded with a number of top college prospects. The visiting North squad features a pair of explosive offensive weapons at wide receiver with 6-foot, 180-pound Michiah Quick (Central, Calif.), a four-star prospect offered by almost every Pac-12 school, and 6-foot-3, 190 pound Chris Jones (Dematha Catholic, Mo.), a Wisconsin commit. Defensively, the North will be led up front by 6-foot-2, 293-pound tackle Tashon Smallwood (Central, Calif.), an Arizona State commit, and in the secondary by another Central, Calif. standout in 6-foot, 175-pounder Devon Brewer (Arizona), along with 6-foot-1, 180-pound Jojo McIntosh (Chaminade, Calif.), a Washington commit.
The host South squad is loaded at the skill positions with a trio of dynamic running backs in St. Petersburg Northeast's Keith Harrington (Washington St.), Dalvin Warmack (Blue Springs, Mo.; Kansas St.) and Markel Smith (St. John Vianney, Mo.; Iowa) and a pair of quality wide outs in Austin Proehl (Providence, N.C.; UNC), son of former NFL wide receiver Ricky Proehl, and Kaelin DeBoskie (Slapointe Catholic, Ariz.), an Arizona commit. The South's defense will be spearheaded by a big-play duo of four-star defensive backs in Hallandale's John Battle Jr. (LSU) and Koa Farmer (Notre Dame, Calif.), a California commit.
Ed Berliner will call the game, alongside color commentator John Kaleo, and Roxanne Wilder will be reporting from the sidelines.
