Blown call costs Dodgers

The Dodgers fell to the Brewers 3-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday at Miller Park in Milwaukee, and the way the game ended may have added another member to the pro instant replay crowd.

Milwaukee had the bases loaded with one out against Matt Guerrier in the bottom of the 10th inning when Ryan Braun lofted a fly ball to shallow center field. Matt Kemp caught the ball, then threw home on a bounce to A.J. Ellis.

Ellis had to reach for the throw and Morgan was called safe at home, but replays showed Morgan was tagged before he touched the plate.

"Having the luxury of seeing the replay, obviously we should still be playing," manager Don Mattingly said after the game. "I guess it's another argument for instant replay."

The loss dropped the Dodgers to 9-3, including 1-1 in extra innings. Guerrier, who walked three in the inning, took the loss.
