Beltran to play right field vs. Mets
JUPITER, Fla. - A day after saying lingering tightness in his right shoulder would limit him to designated hitter duties for the foreseeable future, Carlos Beltran is playing right field today against the Mets in Port St. Lucie.
Beltran will be making his first appearance vs. the Mets since he was traded to San Francisco last summer, ending a seven-year stay with New York.
Adam Wainwright will make his second start of the spring. He tossed two scoreless innings last Friday against the Twins in Fort Myers.
