Bears fan rips off Browns fan's Christmas parody
Clevelanders like to call themselves trendsetters and in this case one fan certainly was -- just not in a way he had hoped.
A "new" viral video emerged this week of an "Angry Bears Fan" singing Christmas carols lamenting the struggles of the 5-9 Chicago Bears.
One problem -- it's nearly a carbon copy of a version done last holiday season by the "Angry Browns Fan," just substituting in different player names (and in the case of Alshon Jeffery, the wrong one).
Take a look at a mashup of the two videos:
You could probably make a video in this style for any of the lowly teams in a given NFL season but with the hundreds of Christmas songs played on loop during the season, finding new material shouldn't be too difficult.
And is life for Bears fans really all that bad?
"They have nothing to be angry about," the Angry Browns Fan told FOX Sports Ohio. "They won the Super Bowl in the 80s and went there again a decade or so ago."
The Browns, on the other hand, are trying this year to complete their second winning season since 2003.
Word of advice to the "Angry Bears fan" - don't mess with Cleveland's Dawg Pound.
