Bearcats sweep Big East PotW awards

From the Big East Conference - The Bearcats have swept this week's "Players Of The Week" awards;
BIG EAST OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Munchie Legaux • Jr. • QB • Cincinnati • New Orleans, La.Legaux threw for a career-high 376 yards with three touchdowns to lead Cincinnati to a 27-24 neutral-site win against No. 25 Virginia Tech to keep the Bearcats unbeaten on the season. He threw for 257 yards in the second half and saw all three of his touchdown passes give the Bearcats a lead. Legaux threw touchdown passes of 76 and 39 yards in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning score with 13 seconds left in regulation.
BIG EAST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Maalik Bomar • Sr. • LB • Cincinnati • Cincinnati, OhioBomar had a game- and career-high 16 tackles with a pass breakup to key the defensive effort in the Bearcats’ 27-24 win against No. 25 Virginia Tech in Landover, Md. He anchored a unit that did not allow the Hokies to gain a first down until late in the second quarter and limited Virginia Tech to just 4-of-13 efficiency on third down.
BIG EAST SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Pat O’Donnell • Sr. • P • Cincinnati • Lake Worth, Fla.O’Donnell helped tip the field in Cincinnati’s favor through the Bearcats’ 27-24 win against No. 25 Virginia Tech. He punted five times and averaged 44.6 yards per punt, pinning the Hokies inside their own 20-yard line four times. Virginia Tech had an average starting field position of its own 22-yard line for the game.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Jory Johnson • Sr. • LB • Connecticut • Mobile, Ala.Had a career-high 14 tackles with two tackles for loss in a 24-17 win against Buffalo.
Senorise Perry • Jr. • RB • Louisville • Summerville, Ga.Rushed for a career-high 118 yards with two touchdowns on 22 carries in deluge conditions in a 21-17 win at Southern Mississippi. Scored the game-winning touchdown with 5:35 left in regulation.
Calvin Pryor • So. • S • Louisville • Port St. Joe, Fla.Had eight tackles with one tackle for loss in a 21-17 win at Southern Mississippi. Helped hold the Golden Eagles to 25 passing yards and two completed passes.
B.J. Daniels • Sr. • QB • USF • Tallahassee, Fla.Threw for 143 yards and ran for a team-high 72 yards, including two rushing touchdowns, in a 30-17 loss to No. 4/4 Florida State.
Kayvon Webster • Sr. • CB • USF • Opa Locka, Fla.Had career highs with 12 tackles, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups in a 30-17 loss to No. 4/4 Florida State.
