Bearcat football announces three game times

CINCINNATI – Three 2013 kickoff times for the University of Cincinnati football team were announced Friday by the American Athletic Conference. UC football is presented by Fifth Third Bank. The Bearcats will open up the Tommy Tuberville era against Big Ten Conference foe Purdue on Aug. 31 at noon in a nationally-televised contest from Nippert Stadium on ESPNU. UC will also play at noon during the second week of the season, traveling to Illinois on Sept. 7 in a game that will air on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

 UC will return home on Saturday, Sept. 14 and face Northwestern State under the lights of Nippert at 7 p.m. The game will be available exclusively online through the WatchESPN app or on ESPN3.com. The Bearcats’ Sept. 21 game time at rival Miami (Ohio), along with the rest of UC’s start times and television opportunities, will be announced at a later date. Game times at Memphis (Oct. 30, 8 p.m., ESPN2) and vs. Louisville (Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., ESPN) were previously announced by the league office. Season tickets and mini plans are on sale now. There are a number of ways fans can order tickets, in person at the athletics ticket office on the fourth floor of the Richard E. Lindner Center in Varsity Village, over the phone by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX or online by clicking the tickets tab at www.GoBEARCATS.com. Fans who purchase online through www.GoBEARCATS.com can take advantage of our new pick your own seat map that allows you to click through the entire stadium to spot best available locations for seats. Season ticket holders receive priority on access to bowl tickets, away game tickets as well as invitations to special events prior to and during the season.
